Outstanding senior QB Logan Woodside led the country a year ago with 45 touchdown passes, the young man threw at least three in every regular – season game, while completing on 65 percent of his passes for 4, 129 yards. Two of his top receivers from last season are back , Jon ‘ Vea Johnson had 40 catches and 10 touchdowns , while Mr. Cody Thompson had 68 receptions and 11 scores and both averaged nearly 20 yards per catch. Career rushing leader Kareem Hunt is long gone to the NFL, but his talent backup senior Mr. Terry Swanson will be the new starter in 2017. He earned second- team All- Mac honors in 2015 with nearly 1, 000 yards rushing. Up front, the Rockets should be very strong as a unit. Five very experienced players should give the offensive line a strong foundation. Seniors Elijah Nkansah, Nate Jeppesen Brant Weiss and sophomore center Bryce Harris have all been at least part- time starters or top reserves. Toledo will have the league’s best QB, tremendous depth and talent at wide receiver and a stable of highly productive running backs that will be hard to handle in the MAC conference this season.
Height= 6’0, 190 pounds.
Round Projection= 5.
What i love about this young man , he comes from a Pro Style offensive at Arkansas. In the last two seasons, Mr. Morgan averaged about 60 catches for 800 yards and he caught 13 touchdowns. He is very quick guy in the slot, who does his best work in the middle of the field and change of direction routes on the boundary. I can see Mr. Morgan going in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Height= 6’2, 215 pounds.
All I can say about Mr. Watson, he has consistently delivered on the biggest stages in College Football. The young man is a natural athlete who plays with great balance in the pocket. Ball placement is one of his primary strengths to go along with his natural instincts to make plays when forced to improvise. My final word on Deshaun Watson , the young man is a natural , charismatic leader on the field and the locker room , and that is why he is the best quarterback in this year’s draft.
College= North Carolina.
Height= 6’3, 230 Weight.
Projection= First Round.
Mr. Trubisky is built like a linebacker, which I liked very much in these days and times. His arm strength is very excellent with a fairly quick delivery and the velocity to make tight- window throws. My final word on Mitch Tubisky , he has franchise QB physical tools , and he could develop into a modern day starting QB in the NFL.
Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson.
The young man has great size with an ideal wingspan . Mr. Tankersley is a Press man guy , an area where he shines at a very high level, and he likes to control wide receivers off the line of scrimmage and use his great length. The guy uses these attributes excellently downfield by taking away aerial angles to the football and tipping passes and making up for a lack of top end closing speed. My final word on Cordrea Tankersley, he will be an early second round pick in 2017 NFL Draft.
Adoree Jackson, CB, 5’11, 185 Pounds, USC.
Can we say the second coming of Deion Sanders. This young man is the most exciting cornerback to come into the NFL Draft since Mr. Sanders in 1989. Mr. Jackson is having an outstanding season this year , he has 42 tackles to go along with six passes broken up and two interceptions . The young guy also has returned kickoffs and punts for touchdowns this season. He will be one of the most serious cover- corners for 2017 NFL Draft. Mr. Jackson’s top asset , is his explosiveness. The young guy has very light feet and flexible joints which helps him change directions fluidity at a high rate. Adoree Jackson will be a top twenty pick in 2017 NFL Draft.
2017 NFL PROSPECT = Leonard Fournette, Running Back, LSU.
6’1, 235 POUNDS.
I turned 56 years old on July 17 of this past year. I’m telling you this, Leonard Fournette is the most talented running back , i have ever seen on this level. In 2016 the young man was sideline for nearly a month with a serious left ankle injury. Look what he did on his first game back against Ole Miss, he rushed for 284 yards on 16 carries , he averaged also 18 yards a carry against Ole Miss that night. By the way he broke LSU’s single- game rushing record that evening. I have a nickname for Mr. Fournette , the neighborhood beast, he runs with so much brute force and power. The young man brings a nature of intimidation , he runs with a powerful leg drive and has become a whole lot better at running behind his pads this season than running upright , which he did at times as a true freshman in 2014. The young man has that rare balance and lateral quickness you look for in a running back at the NFL level. My final words about Leonard Fournette , he is by far the best college running back since the days of the great Herschel Walker.
Jonathan Allen= 6’3, 292 pounds, defensive tackle = Alabama.
Mr. Allen might be the best overall player in the country. Let’s go back to last Saturday against number 6 Texas A&M. The young man accounted for his second defensive touchdown of the season with a 30 yard fumble return in the third quarter of 33- 14 win, he also had six tackles with three solo stops. Mr. Allen recorded his sixth sack of the season in the first quarter when he shed the block of guard and leaped over the running back to bring down Aggies’s QB Trevor Knight for an eight yard loss. At 6’3 , 292 pounds, Allen is smaller but much quicker than run- stuffing former teammates A’ Shawn Robinson and Jarran Reed , the young man is a force against the pass as well as the run . He has enough burst to challenge tackles at the next level as well as enough size and strength to hold up inside. Can you believe that Mr. Allen leads the team in quarterback hurries with 10. The young man already has a NFL ready repertoire of pass rush techniques , incorporating swim, rip, and push/pull moves to rag- do would- be blockers on his way to the ball. I will ehd on this note , Mr. Jonathan Allen will be the best defensive lineman to ever come out of the University of Alabama.
